Adriano Capitanelli graduated with a Juris Doctor degree (“Laurea Magistrale in Scienze Giuridiche”) from the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 2010. His thesis, in comparative pubblic law, was titled “The autonomous communities of Spain: the Catalonia case”.
In 2006 he was awarded the Erasmus scholarship and spent the relevant academic year at the University of Valencia,Spain. During that year he completed, among other courses, the following : comparative public law, international law and European Union law.
Since 2010 he has been working for the Roman law firm Di Ciommo, La Cognata and Partners.
During summer 2011 he lived in London to pursue the ILEC, International Legal English Certificate, released by the University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations.
During summer 2012 he attended a summer law program at the University of Davis, California. The course provided an introduction to the U.S. legal system and an in-depth look at the international trade law.
His areas of interest relate to sport law and international contracts.
He is fluent in Italian, English and Spanish.
