Maria Elisabetta Tabossi’s was born in Rome on June 1, 1962 and, after having obtained a High School Leaving Certificate from the Orazio Classical High School in Rome, graduated in Law with 110/110 from the University of Rome La Sapienza in the academic year 1984/1985.
Her thesis was The judicial interpretation of article 116 of the Italian Penal Code following Italian Constitutional Judgment no.42/1965. The rapporteur was Professor Franco Bricola.
Ms. Tabossi was called to the Rome Bar on October 4, 1990 and obtained rights of audience before the Italian Supreme Court on April 28, 2006.
She has considerable experience in Child Law and Family Law, having also attended the II Vocational Training Course for Lawyers on Child Law and on problems connected with adolescence.
She is also registered with the Rome Juvenile Court Role of Public Defenders and attended the Course for Lawyers Specialized in Family Law Mediation – held in Rome from January to June 2002 for a total of 60 hours of training – passing the final examination.
Ms. Tabossi has, moreover, acquired, during the course of her professional activity, considerable experience in Landlord & Tenant Law and in Contract Law, as well as in real estate and movable property enforcement proceedings.
